Oh Snowez Me!

Are we still enjoying the snow?? I have to say yes even though I ended on my backside this morning lol. Maybe it was all the baking I ate over the holidays that saved me severe injury ;D

I got a little parcel in the mail today and I want to show you how it arrived....

How lovely is this?! It's exactly like the last time but different tissue paper...almost like a late Christmas present :D I placed the order with Hayley at Funky Farm Scrapbook Barn yesterday. I had ordered some papers from her before Christmas and didn't see the lace ribbon until after I pressed the confirm order button. I decided my life wouldn't be the same without it lol. I love seeing it on cards and I don't know if it will fit in with my style but I thought I'd give it a try.

And this is what I bought. I'm a sucker for Bo Bunny these days...the black and white pp is Unforgettable Love, double sided and absolutely gorgeous. This picture doesn't do it justice. Hayley always gives a gift that ties in with each purchase and she gave me the yellow Bazzill cs and the blue fibres that go perfectly with the blue and yellow pp. Thanks Hayley :D

I finally got the decorations down and packed away...I thought it was going to be a 2/3 hour job and ended up taking most of the day. I didn't make it to my workroom until late this afternoon but this is what I came up with...

Ruby sitting on a log blowing the hair out of her face! I don't know what made me think of this image but I'm so happy with the way Moira drew her. I kept the glitter to a minimum (did I just say that??) and used a clear Spica pen on the butterfly in her hair and a black on on the ladybug's spots. I've got loads of little nailheads and used them on her shoes. Loads is probably an understatement....I've got millions and one day they might just find their way into my store. I've just got to remember where I put them lol.
I'll let you in on a little secret...the sentiment is one of my own. I actually have 22 sentiment stamps in 2 different fonts that I haven't put in the store yet. I'm waiting for a phone session with my lovely blog designer Heather so she can explain to me how I can do it without running to her everytime I have a new product. I'll show them to you tomorrow and explain more about it then.
I'm going to see my friend Pauline tonight for a mega catch up. I haven't seen her since well before Christmas so it's long overdue.
Thanks for stopping by...be safe out there.
Catch ya later x
