Kissed by an Angel

I woke up this morning to another 2 inches of snow! I thought it was supposed to get to -20 last night but obviously not if it snowed. When I went out to clear the snow off the car this morning I actually had to stop and just look at the snow before I swept it off. It was so light and feathery and beautiful...you could actually see the shape of snowflakes and it reminded me of a book I read before Christmas (don't ask me where I found the time lol) and it was called Angels in my Hair by Lorna Byrne. Angels in my Hair is an autobiography of a modern-day mistic, an Irish woman with powers of the saints of old. If you're not into this type of thing this books isn't for you but I love this kind of thing and it was really interesting.
" When she was a child, people thought Lorna was 'retarded' because she did not seem to be focussing on what was around her. Lorna remembers seeing not just the world around her but seeing, equally vividly, angels and spirits. For many years she assumed everyone saw the same."
In the winter she describes the snow falling onto the windows as falling angels...she actually sees them as angels and the snow this morning reminded me of her description. Now I didn't see them as angels but if you looked hard enough you just might!
Now before you think I've lost the plot (and I'm sure many do lol) here's the article in Quick Cards that I finally managed to get my hands on. How cool is this...
There she is... Chatty Nikki in at #2!!!!! Maybe I'm biased but I think she should have been #1 lol.
And here's one of two (yes two!!!!) cards I made tonight. I'm going to save the other one for tomorrow :D
I used more of my gorgeous Bo Bunny pp...wait till you see tomorrow's card...I've used the reverse of this pp. I can't seem to make a card these days without a bit of stitching....and I prefer zig zag because I can do that straighter than the straight stitch lol. I used one of my Cuttlebug embossing folders for a bit of interest and texture.
Don't you just love her sparkly phone :D
That's it for tonight...thanks for stopping by.
Catch ya later x
