Singing in the rain

This card was greatly admired yesterday at the demo day yesterday at CW. Not for any reason other than the design and the umbrella paper. I'm not sure what it's called but I saw a card in one of the little supplement magazines made by .... a man!!! Yup...you read correctly...a man. His name is Phill Martin and his card was 8 x 8 and used a sticker instead of a stamped image. Now 8 x 8 is just a bit too big for me so I made mine my regulation 5 1/2 x 5 1/2.

I was in CW a couple of weeks ago and saw this MME paper. Gaynor saw me and rushed up saying she thought of Wellies Robyn as soon as she saw the paper. I think there were only a few sheets yesterday (no I hadn't bought it all!) and they were snapped up PDQ and I'm sure they would have sold dozens more as people kept asking for it.

I 3 D'd her umbrella for a bit of depth and of course added as much glitter as I dared :-D
That's it for today. Hope you all have a great day. Thanks for stopping by.
Catch ya later x
ps Notice the weather outside coordinated nicely with my card lol

Wow small world - Phill runs the craft shop that is nearest to where I live!! I don't go there too often as the smaller shops can be a little more expensive so I tend to buy most of my stuff online but he has got a great shop!! Love the card and the design is fab! x

Hi there, indeed this card was admired by many (including me) at the CW day on Saturday, luckily I had bought the paper when it came out not so long ago and thanks so much for putting the card on your blog, it is absolutely stunning. I had admired the glitter and you pointed me to the glamourdust, it is fantastic, I am thrilled with this glitter, and will wear it with pride! LOL. (I had initially admired your Magnum stamps as I had only noticed them on Thur night when at CW and mentioned how much Magnum (stuck in the cat flap) had made me laugh, looking forward to using your existing and new stamps in future, best wishes, Anne
