Save the date!

Thank you all (I seem to be saying that a lot lately lol) for your lovely emails and comments of my last post. It's funny because you KNOW you're not the only one going through it but it feels like it so it was great to read your stories and suggestions. I'm going to give 'Angus' some time to kick in but I'll have your remedies on standby just in case lol.

I'm sure part of the problem has been trying to find a venue for Nicole and Ben's wedding. I didn't think it would be THIS stressful ... finding Nic's dress was a piece of cake in comparison and maybe I thought/hoped it was all going to be as easy lol. Anyway after many miles and about 17 venues viewed and discarded I can finally say we have a venue...and a date!!! That sounds silly but you can't pick the date without the venue because more times than not that date will be booked.

Now we have the date I figured it was time to start getting organised the with invites etc. Nowadays they send a Save The Date card and I had no intentions of doing them as I will have enough on my plate with the invitations, menus and everything else that goes with it. Well, you can guess I'm now doing them so over the weekend I had a play and this is the final card that will be going out....

It's nothing fancy...quite simple really but Nic loves it. We're not really very frou frou lol. It's 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 and will have a magnet on the back so you can put it on your fridge and it won't get lost in a drawer. I'm not sure exactly how many I have to make yet...they're still finalising the guest list (another headache!) but I won't make the same mistake I did when I ordered my invitations. We were inviting 110 people and I orderded 110 invitations doh!!!

That's another 2 boxes ticked on this wedding adventure only a gazillion more to go lol.

Thanks for popping in today...hello to my new followers that signed up this weekend....my there were a lot of you lol!

Catch ya later x

Its definitely wedding pressure Kerry, you will feel more like your old self when its over. Love your STD card, the rounded edges add a nice soft touch with the little flower. Great idea to add a magnet!

So they settled on Ireland huh? Well, at least you have plenty of time to work on things and you can use the stress of the wedding to blame for anything that might be causing you to be upset, act weird etc so maybe this is something to take advantage of...
