A purchase, a gift, a card, an exclusive(ish) and a win!

Boy have I got a lot to share with you today! First let me say how much me and my girls (sorry if that's not proper english lol) enjoyed the TLT blog hop on Tuesday. Thank you so much for your LL but don't stop now! You have until Sunday to leave a comment and as long as you've got the banner on your blog you're in with a chance to win a prize of either the set of 4 Cupcake Cuties or 4 individual prizes of a Cupcake Cutie of your choice.

I had seen a set of Copics last year that had my name on them! They were gorgeous...very pale colours that complimented the colours I already had (do you read justification here??). I was talking to BFF (you remember her...the one with all the followers but no post lol) last week and she was telling me she only just bought THE set I'm talking about. Not one to be left behind I googled them, found them and ordered them! BFF also suggested a few individual colours to get so I added them to my basket as well. And guess what??? They arrived yesterday!!! Take a looky...

Aren't they scrummy! Don't you just want to eat them! BFF is working at the SECC in a couple of weeks time and is going to give me a one on one Copic lesson so hopefully my colouring will look a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!

So that was my purchase...this is my gift. In my mail today I received an envelope addressed to 'Kerry'. Someone didn't know my last name lol. When I opened it I this is what was inside....

A cupcake recipe book from Lisa...my amazing coordinator! Do you recognize those cupcakes?

There are 2 cupcake recipes and 2 frosting recipes and she used each of the 4 Cupcake Cuties throughout. Lisa had planned to have it ready in time for my anniversary but time and laminating pockets ran away from her!!! This is super cute and I can't wait to try out her recipes...watch this space!

This was the card Lisa sent with the book...you might remember seeing it on her blog here The colours are just beautiful. Thank you so much Lisa :-D

Now onto my card. After seeing all the DT's projects for the hop I wanted to try the stamps I never used. I decided to use Cherry on Top after I found the pp at Craft World yesterday. Do you think Nitwits made it with her in mind???

As soon as I saw the paper I grabbed a sheet.

I added some Glossy Accents to the cherry and it looks good enough to eat!

What do you think of the frosting?? I LOVE it! I used Fluffy Stuff and I wanted something other than glitter {shock} on it so I dug through my drawers and found my stash of Beadazzled beads. I would have preferred red but didn't have any so settled on the gold with bits of gold glitter through it. I wasn't sure how it would turn out so was really happy when it did exactly what I wanted. How often does that happen...not very lol.

Now for my exclusive(ish). I've used my bubble number before here and linear numbers here and I might have mention it was something I was working on. Well I can now tell you that from today they can be yours!! I've called them Sentimental Numbers and they include both sets of numbers AND 4 sentiments. I've used one of the sentiments (a word really!) with the bubble number for this card and I think it works really well.  This set is so versatile and you'll be able to use it for all ages :-D It will retail for £6.99 but you'll be able to enjoy a 15% discount if you use the code CB2010 when you're checking out.

And finally my win! I went to the post office today and on the way out handed over a winning scratch card (£2) and a lucky dip lottery ticket from last month to get checked. I jokingly said to the gentleman serving me 'is it telling me to phone Camelot?' He said no....but you've won £60.00!!!! Wow!!!! I can't remember the last time I won more than a tenner on the lottery. I was dead chuffed with my win and when I read this back I think I've had an amazing day :-D

I've nothing else to tell you or show you (I think you've had enough for today lol)...anything else I'll keep for tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by today .

Catch ya later x

ps I've got a little chat box up at the top right. If you have any questions or just want to say hi type in your message. It's not a replacement for leaving comments after a post though...just an added extra :-D

Congratulations!! You deserved to win, after all of the chances you've given us to win! Also, awesome card. I've never used the fluffy stuff you used for the frosting. It looks amazing, especially with the (dare I say the word?) sprinkles!
