Fluffy Stuff tutorial

I figured since I've been going on about Fluffy Stuff so much lately I'd show you a little tutorial just in case you haven't the foggiest what I'm talking about lol.

Before I found FS I tried something called Applique which I wasn't very fussed about for a couple of reasons. The first is once you applied it you had to wait till it dried before you fluffed it up and second it doesn't fluff up as much as FS (imho)

What you'll need is an image coloured in, FS, embellishments (glitter, beads etc), heat tool

This is the FS and the beads I'm using in this tutorial

I'm using Cupcake Cutie - Cherry On Top coloured in with Copics

Squeeze the bottle and evenly spread FS on the part of the image you want it

Sprinkle wet FS with glitter, beads etc

Heat your heat tool for a few seconds then hold it 3 or 4 inches over the FS and slowly move it across as the FS puffs up. Depending on the size of the area you're fluffing this should only take about 10 - 20 seconds.

I love watching it puff up!  When you're heating the FS the don't be alarmed if the image warps slightly and is slightly damp underneath ... it will straighten out either on it's own or once you've matted it.

All fluffed up

This is the finished card!

Why don't you give it a try...I can guarantee you'll have lots of fun :-D

Catch ya later x

I gotta get me some! I've got some other stuff but you have to wait for it to dry and it doesn't fluff up half as good as this!!!

Great tutorial - thx for putting it together!

What a sweet card, Kerry...love it! I'm going to have to see if I can find some FS here in the states. I really like the way it puffed up and your tutorial was great. Way to go Queen Ladybug!
