New goodies and Flat Stanley is on his way home

Ok...exciting news. I've added the new ribbon and felt to my website and you guys are going to L-O-V-E it!!! I have been lovingly stroking it since it arrived... {sigh} it's gorgeous :-D

I wanted to make a card to send to Flat Stanley's owner and this is what I came up with...

Flat Stanley's owner is 8 so I thought Upside Down Robyn was perfect. I love colouring this image. After I put it all together I realised it looks like Robyn is suspended in the sky...I forgot to add some grass or something to ground it but I think she'll be ok lol.

I added some dots to her t-shirt and bow with my white gel pen and for some reason I ALWAYS glitter the tree.

Ta da...this one of the new ribbons and new colours of felt. The ribbon I used here is baby blue twill stripe and is one of six yummalicious colours. The felt colour is called coconut ice and is one of five flabulous colours.

I had a couple of boo boos just as I finished the card. You can just about see a white line on the right edge of the image. I inked up the sentiment and stamped it...(I always hold my breath when I do this until I lift the block and see everything is fine) and I was just about to breathe when I noticed a small spot of black ink that must have got on the acrylic block when I was inking the sentiment...not a happy bunny! I covered it with my gel pen then went on to add some GA to my ladybug. Did that then decided I would attach in insert. Opened card, applied snot, stuck insert, closed card, BLAST...GA smudged! Serves me right for being impatient hmph! I hope she likes her card and Flat Stanley makes it home safely :-D

That's it for me for tonight. Make sure you check out the new goodies and let me know what you think. You can be sure you'll be seeing the new ribbon and felt on my cards in the next few weeks!

Have a great weekend

Catch ya later x

I think the card is great and I am sure the little girl will love it. Why is it we must always point out our "errors" when no one else would ever notice? Need to get me some of that ribbon, gorgeous!

SERIOUSLY; don't you HATE when you stamp a sentiment and it has like this frickin' spot of flint or whatever - DRIVES ME MAD....absolutely mad.

BUT I love your card and Flat Stanley's owner will love it! Flat Stanley has had a serious adventure with you - probably ready to head home for some rest!!!
