No Squares Allowed!

No squares allowed????? Lyndsey, how could you do this to me??!!! For someone who rarely strays from a square card this was a real challenge for me. I did think I'd do a rectangle card but that really is just a square card that's been stretched lol.

Before I show you my card I want to thank everyone who entered our Winter Wonderland Challenge...you can see if you're one of the winners on the Challenge Blog. Also for all the lovely comments on our new Silly Snowmen release...there's a lot of Snowman love out there!

On to my card. I was extremely time challenged this week for all sorts of reasons but thankfully I remembered I had this card I made months ago and hadn't quite finished. All I did last night was add the button and the sentiment and voila! card done lol.

This was my first time printing and colouring Baby Billie ABC...it's such a cute image. After colouring it with my Copics I cut it out with a circular Nestie and stitched it to a scalloped mat. I ran a pink circle through my Ebosser embossing only half of it with my button embossing folder then stitched around it before sticking it to the scalloped circle card blank.

The sentiment is a Lasting Impressions Senti-metal. I added Baker's twine to the button, Glossy Accents to the ABC and glitter to Billie's heart.

Nicole's friend had a little girl the other day so will give this to her :-D

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Kaboodle Doodles Challenge - Anything But Square
Make It Monday - Anything Goes
Tammy's Scrapin Corner - Anything Goes
The Pink Elephant - Use digi image or digi paper
Challenges 4 Everybody - Anything Goes
Glitter n Sparkle - Add some pink

I must warn you ....the following pictures are EXTREMELY cute ... well being a biased Grandma I would say that lol!

Coen is 17 weeks tomorrow and is developing a great little personality. Nicole has started giving him baby rice which he wasn't all that about at first but he's getting used to the texture and eating from a spoon. We're getting spontaneous smiles ... I love it when he looks at me and gives me one of his gorgeous smiles. Then there's the giggles...I LOVE it when he laughs and end up laughing too :-D

That's it from me today....I hope you have a great Tuesday!

Thanks for stopping by

Catch ya later x

This is beautiful Kerry. You should do shaped cards more often, they're so pretty and lots of fun. Love the shape and colours for this, and the image is so gorgeous.

Thank you for joining us over at the Scribble & Scrap Challenge. Good luck.

Awww, what a cute card Kerry... like you I was way outside my comfort zone making a non-square card, but I really like my card after all the stressing :-)

Super cute pics of Coen too, what a gorgeous baby!

Kerry, This card is beautiful (getting ready to have a new grand daughter any moment now (literally), I'm really liking this pink:) I'm confused about the date on it and that it is our Monochromatic challenge at Tammy's Scrapin corner for which this card would work perfectly.
Thanks for showing us your creativity.
