472

472...that's the number of calories I burned this morning working out to Zumba 2 (medium effort Poolside) in just under an hour!! AND my technique is now at 2% lol. At the rate I'm going I'll be able to qualify as an instructor before long :-D I've also LOST 4 pounds yaaaayyyy!!

Ryan needed a card on Saturday for a 21st. To be fair he did ask on the Friday but I was kinda hoping he'd forget but funny how kids turn into elephants and never forget things THEY ask YOU for but when YOU ask THEM it's another story. So an hour before he was due to leave he asked for the card eek!!!

But mom's can do anything....they're SUPER women and this mom was no exception Saturday night....look what I came up with in UNDER an hour...

This was the first time I used Aida for the flowers. Thanks to everyone that put a name to the 'embroidery stuff' I used on my TLT card lol. I'd been itching to use this pp for ages and it all came together once I stamped Winestool Nikki.

I thought I was saving time by paper piecing her dress but I'm not sure if that was the case but I love how it turned out

This could be my new favourite flower....love the aida fabric

So there it is...yes it CAN be done ... a card in UNDER an hour lol.

I'd love to enter the following challenges please:

Front row: Aunty Sue (Jeff & Colette's mom), Jacob and Christina (Paul & Colette's kids) Jayden (Jeff & Shari's son) Tracey (my BIG sis) Shelly (DLS)

That's me for today...I hope you have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by :-D

A real SUPER mum indeed. I bet he'll be asking for a lot more cards like this one, lol. I'm sure I wouldn't be able to whip this up within 1 hour, but it looks stunning. So does the dress! Well done on burning those calories. I've been to yoga class this afternoon. Not many calories burnt, but at least I did a lot of stretching, lol. Marianne x

I think that paper pieced dress is the best paper piecing I have ever seen! And to think you did that in under an hour, I can't even get situated and ready to stamp that soon! Awesome Kerry!
