In The Office - Midway Reminder

I'm a little bit late today. I had planned on making my card for today yesterday but ran out of time and when I woke up this morning my back decided to play up on me and I'm now leaning forward and to one side!!! It's made crafting a bit uncomfortable but I managed to make a card to remind you of this fortnight's In the Office Challenge.

Here's what I made...

It's been a long time since I've stamped an image as I've been loving all the new digi releases but it reminded me why I got into crafting in the first place. I stamped Jack & Robyn's Bless This Tree (which you can purchase in the 70% off sale) with MomentoTuxedo Black in and colored it with my Copics. The pp is MME's Winter Wonderland 6 x 6 pad...gorgeous! The notebook page die was a gift from Mary J last year and the Baker's Twine was a gift from M Pee 2 years ago!

I decided to go subtle with the sparkle (not like me at all) and instead of glitter used my Wink Of Stella glitter pen on the baubles, lights and Robyn's slippers and bow.

You know I love my felt...this snowflake is so pretty with the pearl

I was looking for my snowflake charms when I came across these bells I bought at the SECC from Mei Flower years ago....I KNEW I needed them lol.

I carried the notebook page die to the inside of the card. Hmmm...looks like I need to press the cs down on the front!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Dream Valley Challenges - Anything Goes
Great Impressions - Holidays
Penny Black and More - Any Die Will Do
Make It Monday - Anything Goes
Tammy's Scrapin Corner - Anything Goes

My back is twinging a bit as I sit here so I'm going to lie down on the floor for a bit before tackling dinner.

The Ladybugs are loving your entries for this challenge so keep them coming!

Thanks for stopping by today

Catch ya later x

Love your card, it's so merry and bright. I can see why you fell for these papers. Hope you're back will be back to normal soon. DH is still recovering from a slipped disk. After 3 weeks of rest back in June/July he started working part time again and was lying flat on his back on his office desk when possible. It's much easier to lie down and get up when your back is hurting LOL.

Yo GF, love your bright card, I know what you mean about stamping, I still love using "real" stamps ;0) That snowflake is lush. Now with my physio hat on....you really do need to keep gently moving rather than lying down. Take some regular paracetamol, NOT ibuprofen to ease the pain and relieve the muscle spasm. That will enable you to get gently moving."Simple" Back Pain...ie just in your back, no leg symptoms)is usually very self limiting and lasts max of 4-6 weeks (often much quicker)It's pretty horrid but does settle and sadly 3 out of 4 adults get an episode every year so almost as common as the common cold. Phew........hope I haven't sent you to sleep ;0)
Take care and speak soon,

Cheery and love the brightness of your card. Like you Kerry, I have not used a 'propper' stamps since I have been purchased digi stamps. So much easier. In answer to your question re my entry...it is a template which you need to cut on the cameo machine as it has so many intricate pieces. I purchased it from..www.forevermemoriesforyou.co.uk

You will need to resize it otherwise it is huge, and I mean huge lol. I had to resize it to fit approx 5 x 6 inch envelope.

luv annie.
