TLT - Susan's Challenge - Spring!

Good morning and a happy TLT to you! Another 2 weeks have flown by and we're almost halfway through March..crazy!

Notice anything different about my blog (and the Challenge Blog)? Isn't it fantabulous!!! I just loved Julie's makeover by lovely Lou...I'm so happy with it and glad it's no longer green!!

Thank you for you fabtastic entries to our new release Blog Hop and Add A Number Challenge. To see if you are a winner pop on over to the Challenge Blog

Today's challenge has been brought to you by super talented Ladybug Susan. She has chosen Spring but I think after a brief spring spell last week, winter is back with a vengeance. We had crazy snow blizzards crossed with sunny spells on Sunday and we woke to a blanket of snow yesterday morning! It's so cccccold but hopefully our challenge will warm you up.

I made this card for my MIL for Mother's Day...following the Keep Calm quotes it says Keep Calm on the outside and It's Mother's Day on the inside...I thought I was quite clever lololol.

The picture makes the card look quite insipid (or maybe it's my lack of Photoshop skills lol) but IRL it was bright and cheery. I've used Wheelbarrow Delight from the Floral Delight collection. I loved coloring this with my Copics.

I added lots of glitter, some liquid pearls and Glossy Accents to the sunflower center.

I love layering the flowers using different textures

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Crafty Bloggers Network - Pastel or Spring
Digi Makeover Challenge - Easter/Spring
Make It Monday - Anything Goes
Whoopsi Daisy Challenge Blog - Buttons or Bows
Celebrate The Occasion - Spring is in the Air
Crafty Sentiments - Hello Spring

I've got an order for wedding invites and place cards and unfortunately I used the same heart die for the sample that I used for Nic and Ben's invitations...can't think how I forgot what a nightmare they were to cut out. Well, the bride loved them didn't she hmph! Thankfully Susan came to my rescue with her Ebosser and 134 hearts are winging their way to me. I'm hoping Mr Postie will be delivering them today :-D

Hope you have a great week.

Catch ya later x

Hi Kerry, long time no visit. Love the new design, but I cannot for the life of me remember what it was like before. Isn't it strange how the mind works? Anyhow, love the card and those of the other DT members. Makes me want to colour up one of the gardening images I printed out ages ago. Heck, maybe I'll even submit a card into the challenge this fortnight LOL.

What a lush card Kerry. Gorgeous colours and a sprinkle of bling too..perfect. I love the flower tied with twine, it goes so very well there. Spring is a very good idea for a theme, perhaps it will pull it closer for us all ;0)

Such a pretty card Kerry, love the orange and pink together and I don't think it looks insipid in the picture so it must be MEGA bright IRL lol
Good luck with the invites - one lot of wedding invites were enough for me!

WOW - love the new header banner - colors are fab; love the pop of red throughout too!

I so miss my blog makeover I used to have...one day it was just GONE; turns out the designer quit hosting but never told me. :(

Anywho - great card; those keep calm quotes are everywhere; very clever!
