80 Years Young

I'm a bit worried...we've had gorgeous weather since the weekend and I'm hoping it's not our summer come early!!! I've manage to hang my wash out...I love the smell of clothes dried outside :-D

Judging by your comments and emails you are loving the new Through The Ages release. I've had a great time playing and want to show you a card I made for a magazine...

People are living longer these days so I thought an 80 was a must in the collection...I just wish I had it when my friend Sadie reached this milestone 2 years ago.

I loved paper piecing the numbers...just don't look at the white bits .... forgot to tidy them up with my black marker hmph!

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:

Celebrate the Occasion - Girls birthday - must use pink
Lady Anne's Challenges - Anything Goes
Bearly-Mine Challenges - Anything Goes
LEJ Designs Challenge Blog - For a Lovely Lady
Make it Monday - Anything Goes
4 Crafty Chicks - Stitching
Crafty Ribbons Challenge - Anything Goes With Ribbon
Craft Us Crazy - Anything Goes

A little update on Nicole and her growing bump (did I mention I was going to be a grandma...might have slipped my mind ;-D). She  is positively glowing and I would liken her bump to a football (soccer ball M Pee) under her top...it's lovely and round :-D I don't think Baby McLeod likes me though because I have yet to see or feel it move. Any time Nicole has shouted on me that it's moving, by the time I get there it's stopped hmph! The nursery is gorgeous and apart from a few bits and pieces all they need is the baby :-D It's not long now...73 days and counting eek!!!!

Steven is doing really well in Dubai...he hasn't stopped working since he arrived 3 weeks ago. He's done modelling jobs and is working for events management companies...he was chosen today to to an event for Cartier!  He's mixing with people and getting a lot of contacts. Next week he's working at The Boat show and today he's going to the semi-finals of the tennis .... basically he's having a fantastic time...living the dream :-D

I haven't made a card this week so I'm going to forget the housework and lock myself in my craftroom and hope the cleaning fairies will work their magic lol.

Hope you have a great weekend.

Catch ya later x

Beautiful card Kerry.
Thanks for the update in the bump - my daughters bump was like a football too.
Bet you can't wait. Enjoy every second. I can't believe its been over 2 years that our little bundle of trouble has been here.
Let the house fairy get in with it while you craft!

I love the paper pieced numbers Kerry it looks really effective and the papers are scrummy too!
My baby bump with my twins was more the size of a football pitch than the ball!
