TLT - Blog hop and a new release!!!

Yaayyyyyy we're back!!! And not only with our first challenge of 2013 but with a NEW fabulicious release called Killer Heels and a blog hop!!! We are super duper excited and can't wait to shoe show you our cards. As it's a hop there is a little bit of work involved...well actually there's a bit of extra work involved because we have THREE Guest Designer's, super duper talented former Ladybugs Anita and Pam and previous fabulicious GD Jen. Make sure you give them some extra Ladybug Love :-D

Before we get going I'm going to bore you with the rules of the hop:

 1. Leave a comment on each of the DT posts as you hop.

2. Collect the letters from some of the DT and email us at lcichallengeblog.aol.com with the word they spell
( ps they are mixed up and not all the DT and GD have one)

3. Leave a comment on the Challenge blog letting us know which image you like best

 4. Display our badge in your side bar to spread the word.

The winner of the hop will receive all 6 of the new Killer Heel images and 5 runners up will receive 1 image each.

Not only can you do the hop and win a prize .. but we also have our normal challenge running too... and the theme this week is...

 GIRLY/FEMALE

The prize will be 2 cling stamps from Ladybug Crafts Ink and if you use an LCI image you'll receive 4!

Let's get started shall we? You should have arrived here from Jen but if you get lost head on back to the Challenge Blog where you can start from the beginning.

For my card I've used Dainty Heels though I think if I wore these I'd have broken heels lololol. I made this card for my niece's brithday back in October...wasn't I organized ;-D

I coloured the image with my Copic's and added nailheads to the daisies

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Anything Goes
Lady Anne's Challenges - Anything Goes
Make It Monday - Anything Goes
My Grafico - Anything Goes
Craftroom Challenge - Monochrome
Die Cuttin Divas - Anything Goes
Part Time Tuesdays - Anything Goes

My O my, I just love these new images and we hope you do to. They are available to buy from today and will cost £1.75 each...pretty cheap for Louboutin's lol.

One bit of sad news before I let you go. Catherine has decided to step down as a Ladybug and we will miss her and her talent big time. Thank you for all you've done for us at LCI Catherine and we wish you all the best for the future.

Rebel, birthday present, the sale continues and a new release!!!!

I've been sitting on (not literally!) my mom's birthday card for a couple of months now because I used an un-released image but I'm gonna show you anyway...just don't tell the boss lol.

Here it is....

I haven't got a name for the image yet and what you see here isn't the whole image, I printed it 3 times on kraft cs, picked certain parts,
cut them out with my Nesties and after coloring them with my Copics fit them behind my Die-namics circle trio. It's the first time I've colored on kraft...I'd been inspired by Jen over on Tiny Blue Butterfly and finally bit the bullet! Must say I really love the look and only yesterday colored another image printed on kraft....could be my new thang lol.

Do you like?

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

ABC Challenges - Happy Birthday
Created With Love - Anything Goes
Make It Monday - Anything Goes
Paper Pretties - Try a new technique (coloring on kraft cs)
LEJ Designs - Stitching real or faux
My Grafico - Anything Goes
Sentimental Sundays - Negative Space

I realized the other day that I forgot to pick a winner for my birfday prezzie!!!

The winner is....

Congratulations Vanessa...please email me with your address and I'll send your present :-D

Next on the agenda is the 70% off cling stamp sale...it's still ON!!! You still have time to add your favourite LCI stamps to your collection.

And finally the BIGGIE! The only way to start a challenge year is with a NEW RELEASE and a BLOG HOP!!!! Next week sees another FABULICIOUS LCI release and the DT and GD have been super busy creating up a storm and I can confirm that you will LOVE (cuz I've had a sneak peek) what they've made to inspire you and get those creative juices flowing if you're stuck in the January rut!!!

Post the banner on your blog and spread the news and make sure you check back in on Tuesday :-D

Just in case you thought...

...I'd left the country again I've not lol! Manilla was enough for the time being...not sure I'd go back ... it was so stressful lol.

Happy New Year to you all...I know we're almost halfway through January but I haven't wished you properly. I hope you all had a good Christmas...ours was quiet...just the 5 of us and bump (Ben was up North wish his family). Nic moved home for a couple of days on Christmas eve after work. She had her 2nd scan that morning and our little grandbaby has grown quite a bit....

Nicole is 23 weeks today...over half way woop woop!!! I'm still so excited as you can tell lol. We have a big year ahead of us so I will have to save some of the excitement for my dad's 80th next month, the birth of our grandbaby in May, our 30th wedding anniversary (now that's a real achievement these days but we're not there yet lol) and my 30th 50th!!!! Can we all say holy cow lol!!!!!!

I didn't think I had anything crafty to share with you but I came across Sadie's birthday card from December and before you think I was late I can assure you I was not lol.

I used Tulip Watering Can from the Floral Delight Too range of digi stamps and colored it with my Copics.

I got a fabulicious Stampin Up! embossing folder for my birthday...I just love the texture which is perfect for Sadie as she's registered blind.

I've used the most gorgeously soft felt in Monty Mushroom and Blush Pink for the flower and a wooden flower button I found in my stash.

A bit of Glamour Dust on the flowers adds sparkle

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes
Challenges 4 Everybody - Anything Goes
Dream Valley Challenges - Anything Goes
OSAAT - Anything Goes

Although I seem to have hit a brick wall crafting wise (I've only made 2 cards this year) I've not been sitting around doing nothing. I have been extremely busy and will have some exciting news to share with you VERY soon!!!

Hope you all have a great week and get plenty of crafting done.

Happy New Year - I've been hacked!!

This isn't the post I had planned as my first of 2013 but unfortunately my email was compromised and all my contacts received an email from 'me' saying I was stranded in Manilla and to send money so I could get out!

I was out with Nicole looking at cots and furniture for Baby McLeod and my phone was on silent so when I looked at it I thought I was extremely popular as I had umpteen texts, emails and miss calls. Obviously I wasn't as popular as I thought lol ... it was everyone trying to find out if I was really in the Philippines/did I know I'd been hacked/did I need money!!! Marianne in Greece called to make sure I was ok and I was a bit stressed as I was trying to change my aol password which wasn't working and I was a bit snappy (I did call her back and apologize and we had a laugh about it but sorry again Marianne!)

Trying to find a contact number for AOL is a nightmare. When I eventually found one it was for the States and they wanted my 10 digit telephone number or 5 digit post code...my phone number has 11 digits and my post code 6 so that wasn't working. Finally got through to a lovely chap in India. I explained what I wanted and while he was trying to get me the right number wished me a Happy New Year and asked how I was. I wished him back, told him I would be better once this mess was fixed and asked how he was. He sighed and said that he had girl problems.....that the girl he loved didn't love him and loved someone else and he didn't know what to do!! He was comparing his story to that of Superman, Spiderman and the two from Twilight (not a fan ... I know one is called Edward!) So what did I do??? I did what I seem to do a lot of...I counselled him! I was trying to cook dinner, get the number from him and tell him he'd get the girl in the end lol. Can't get through on the number he gave me but I'll keep trying. In the meantime please DON'T send any money (I think you're more clever than that) and thank you for your concern and apologies for the inconvenience.

I'll be back soon with something crafty....I hope!

EDIT: I finally changed my password but I'm not telling you what it is lol!!! A BIG thank you to Tams...between the two of us we got it sorted. For some reason Chrome wasn't letting me change it so I brought up Internet Explorer and it let me do it from there. Tams says when she has problems logging onto websites through Chrome/IE/Firefox etc she always tries another browser. So there's a little top tip for you :-D
